I'm Rachelle, and I live in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia with my daughter, dog, gecko, husband and a million plants.
Rumple Bumpkin is the nickname my husband gave to Guimauve (Guimi), my Frenchie back when when she was a snuggly, wrinkly little pup. Since Guimi sticks to me like velcro when I'm busy crafting, the name "Rumple Bumpkin" stuck too.
By day I am a public school Teacher-Librarian, a nature explorer and plant nurturer. When the sun sets, I craft to relax. Crafting is my meditation, my creative outlet and my passion! I love to draw, paint, felt, knit, weave, sculpt and bead. I have a closet full of craft bins, and a head full of inspiration and ideas. Lately, the beading has become a "thing". The kind of thing that I'm obsessed with. The kind of thing I want to share with others! Each of my pieces is unique and completely handmade. I source my crafting materials from Canadian & Indigenous suppliers. All fittings are hypoallergenic, and nickel-free for those with sensitive ears (like mine). My goal is to create pretty things that make me smile, and make others smile too! Thank you for supporting my hobby.
Because I believe in buying Canadian, and in transparency, here's where I purchase my supplies. I highly recommend these sellers if you're interested in starting your own beading obsession!
